| LSR

LSR is a lipoprotein receptor primarily expressed in liver and activated by free fatty acids. LSR also acts as a cellular receptor for toxins produced by different species of Clostridium bacteria.LSR is important in brain cholesterol distribution and maintenance of cognitive functions during aging. Binds chylomicrons, LDL and VLDL in presence of free fatty acids and allows their subsequent uptake in the cells.

The recovery of Mouse LSR spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.
